We have 2 PSW vacancy for Community Clients and Facilities in the Barrie area to provide care. Shifts may vary from mornings to evenings and every other weekend.
Job Benefits:
- Competitive pay starting at $19-$21 **based on experience

- 4 hour shift minimum
The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide personal care
- Transportation maybe required to do grocery shopping or take to medical app
- Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
- Provide behavior support and crisis intervention
- Maintaining open communication with client and their family
- Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates
- Responding to all emergency situations
- All other duties, as assigned
Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
- PSW certification is required
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
- Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months
- CPI training is an asset**
- Drivers License and own insured vehicle is mandatory
- Satisfactory professional references
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
